Elecsys Corporation Announces Agreement With Gulf Energy Solutions Corporation

OLATHE, Kan., May 3– Elecsys Corporation (Nasdaq: ESYS), a developer of machine to machine (M2M) data acquisition, telemetry, and analysis systems for critical industries, today announced the appointment of Gulf Energy Solutions Corporation (GESCORP) to become a distribution partner for its mobile computing and asset management products. GESCORP, headquartered in Jubail Industrial City, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, will sell and support Elecsys products throughout the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, which include Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates. Elecsys will be exhibiting all of its product lines at the Middle East Corrosion Management Conference 2010 to be held in Bahrain at the end of this month.

In addition to selling and supporting the Company’s Radix and eXtremeTAG product lines, GESCORP will be working with Elecsys to develop custom system solutions for industrial customers in the region. The Radix products consist of the FW950 and FW500 rugged handheld computers, peripheral devices and data management software systems. The eXtremeTAG products make use of unique, patented radio frequency identification (RFID) technology that enables reliable operation in harsh environments, such as those found in multiple heavy process industries.
