Coca-Cola is committed to collecting and recycling plastic bottles rather than switching to aluminum cans as the world’s largest soft drinks maker seeks to reduce its carbon footprint, its chief executive officer told Reuters. Chesapeake Energy Plunges to 20-Year Low as Street Loses Faith

(Bloomberg) — Chesapeake Energy Corp. collapsed to a 20-year low Wednesday, one day after the shale gas driller warned it may not be able to outlast low fuel prices and issued a “going concern” notice.Shares fell as much as 24% intraday to their lowest since 1999. Canadian gold miner Semafo said on Wednesday that several people had been killed when a convoy transporting some of its workers was attacked on a road in eastern Burkina Faso. This is the third deadly attack suffered by Semafo in 15 months, with two occurring in August last year also targeting vehicles in transit between Semafo’s mines.
