Moderna Partners With Catalent For First 100 Million Covid-19 Vaccine Doses In Q3

Moderna Inc. (MRNA) said it entered into a collaboration with Catalent (CTLT) for large-scale, commercial manufacturing of its mRNA-based experimental vaccine candidate against the novel coronavirus.As part of the agreement, Catalent will provide vial filling and packaging, as well as additional staffing at its facility for the production of an initial 100 million doses of the vaccine candidate to supply the U.S. market starting in the third quarter of this year. Tesla Plans to Make Batteries Around the Clock in Bay Area

(Bloomberg) — Tesla Inc. is planning to expand a battery-research facility in the San Francisco Bay Area, adding manufacturing capabilities that would run 24 hours a day.The electric-car maker laid out its plans in documents filed with the city of Fremont, California, where the facility is located. Occidental Plans First Junk Bond Sale to Fund Debt Buybacks

(Bloomberg) — Occidental Petroleum Corp. is selling new high-yield debt to fund its planned buyback of up to $1.5 billion of bonds maturing in the coming years as it seeks to tackle its wall of upcoming maturities.The Houston-based company is issuing five-, seven- and 10-year unsecured notes to fund its repurchase offer and refinance existing debt, according to a person familiar with the matter, who asked not to be named because the offering is private.
