Amazon Buys Driverless Startup Zoox, Cites Ride-Hailing Goal

(Bloomberg) — When news broke last month that Amazon.com Inc. was interested in buying Zoox Inc., observers assumed the e-commerce giant was looking to automate its delivery fleet.
